First letter from the MTC

Dear Family and Friends,

For everyone that told me my first day would be long, you were more than right. Not joking when I say my first day felt like a week! Went by SOOO slow but that's okay. I have already had such great experiences. Me and my comp have been doing a lot of role play with each other and I can't believe how awesome that is! I have felt the spirit so much in just 2 days.

So wednesday was a little crazy. We all met our district and zones and companions which was really awesome. My companion is by far the best one in the entire MTC. We get along so well and love to teach and have fun. We are already great friends, along with the rest of the elders in our district. I love my district so much! We have so many laughs together I can't wait to see what happens this next week. Anyways back to Wednesday. That night we got to meet three investigators which was an awesome experience. Learned a ton from watching sister missionaries teach these people and helping from the audience.

Thursday, we had a ton of classes which was great but the one day felt like a week. I can't wait to get out into the field and teach some investigators. Gym time was by far the best part of thursday. We went and played some sand volleyball with the whole district which was so much fun! I have seen a ton of mesa people which is always great to get a little taste of home. Actually, I almost forgot! Elder Dallin Urness is in my District! For those of you who don't know him he is just a friend from school. It was awesome walking in on the first day and seeing him there.

Today we did a ton of role play which I LOVED! Role play is awesome and is so helpful in learning what you did wrong and what you can add. Well I am almost out of time so I need to be off! Thanks to everyone who has helped me get on a mission. I already know it is the best decision of my life. Love you all so very much!

Love,
Elder Scoresby
